    DECEMBER, 2021. The poem “This is Not About Us (It’s Just About Desire and The Plague)” by RK Fauth, founder of UNPRECEDENTED, is read and discussed as part of December’s Poetry Discussion Circle: What’s New in American Poetry at the New York Public Library.

  • Asheville, NC: Black-out Poetry Night

    DECEMBER 3RD, 2021. Noble Cidery located in downtown Asheville, North Carolina will be hosting a Black-out Poetry Night with UNPRECEDENTED from 5pm-8pm. Participants are invited to create a blackout poem on site, then exchange their poem at the bar for a complimentary cider. Open to the public; limited to 1 drink/person.

  • Binghamton, NY: Conference Presentation

    OCTOBER, 2021. The UNPRECEDENTED Collection was presented at the CEMERS Conference for Medieval Cultural Heritage: Then and Now. The poetry was part of a segment on “The Viral Decameron,” alongside musical compositions for The Library of Congress’s Boccaccio Project.

    SEPTEMBER, 2021. For the incoming class of Masters students in the Engaged & Public Humanities at Georgetown University, The UNPRECEDENTED Project was presented as an exceptional public humanities project.

    APRIL 2021. Awarded by Georgetown University. “In a wholly original way, Fauth’s project helps participants face the stresses of our current pandemic through the methods of the arts and humanities, and in so doing connects medieval literary texts to 21st century life. This work also connects us to each other: for this reason among many, Unprecedented is a brilliant project.”

    MAY 2021. The UNPRECEDENTED Project wins funding from The American Boccaccio Association for best creative work out of a national selection of projects.

  • Kings Park High School: Workshop

    APRIL, 2021. The UNPRECEDENTED Project was introduced to students of Creative Writing and Advanced English at Kings Park High School in New York.

  • Prince William High School: Workshop

    APRIL, 2021. The UNPRECEDENTED Project was introduced to students of Creative Writing and English Composition at a public high school in Virginia.
